Episode 1

Frederike Bader stops a crime in a supermarket and finds herself entangled with a dubious private investigator. Her daughter Mia breaks one of the golden rules of witness protection.

Episode 2

Ferdinande puts Frederike under pressure to help him get out from under suspicion of murder. Archaeologists are approaching a dig that some people would prefer was left untouched.

Episode 3

With a joint investigation into a missing student, Ferdinande and Frederike become a team. Frederike's previous and antagonistic overseer becomes head of Passau police.

Episode 4

When Kadher Bahdari asks Ferdinande to look for his son, he has no idea of the role Ferdinande has played in the disappearance. Mia takes a big risk thereby endangering her own and her mother's life.
